1. What This App Does

AI Palm Analyst lets you upload a photo of your palm. The image is analyzed by an AI vision model to identify palmistry-style features (lines, mounts, and shapes), and matched against a fixed dataset of readings, which are then shown to you. A limited free reading is shown for every scan; a fuller reading can be unlocked through a one-time payment.

2. This Is Entertainment, Not Professional Advice

Palmistry has no scientific basis. The readings generated by this app are for entertainment and self-reflection purposes only. They are not medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice, and should not be relied upon for any serious decision. If you are experiencing genuine distress or need professional guidance, please consult a qualified doctor, counselor, or relevant professional instead.

3. What Data We Collect

Palm images you upload — sent to our AI provider (Google Gemini) for analysis. We do not permanently store the original image file on our servers; it is processed and discarded after analysis.
Scan results — the AI-generated readings matched to your scan are stored in our database, linked to a random scan ID, so that a paid unlock can later retrieve your full results.
Payment information — if you choose to unlock a full reading, payment is processed entirely by our payment provider (PayHere). We do not see, collect, or store your card number, CVV, or banking credentials at any point — these go directly to PayHere's secure systems.
Feedback — if you submit a star rating or comment, this is stored to help us improve the app. Feedback is optional.
Basic technical data — standard server logs (e.g. timestamps, error logs) may be retained briefly for debugging and security purposes.

4. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to: generate your palm reading, process payment for unlocked content, respond to feedback, and maintain the security and reliability of the service. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your palm photo for any purpose other than generating your reading.

5. Third-Party Services We Use

Google Gemini API — processes your uploaded image to identify palm features. Subject to Google's API Terms.
PayHere — processes payments for unlocked readings. Subject to PayHere's Terms.
Render & Neon — our hosting and database providers, used to run the app and store scan/feedback records securely.

6. Your Rights

Under Sri Lanka's Personal Data Protection Act No. 9 of 2022, you have the right to know what data we hold about you, request its correction, or request its deletion. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 9.

7. Data Retention

Scan results are retained so that paid unlocks remain accessible to you. If you would like your scan data deleted entirely, contact us and we will remove it, except where retention is required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes (e.g. payment records).

8. Refunds

Because the unlocked reading is delivered instantly and digitally upon payment, all sales are final once the full reading has been revealed. If a payment was taken but no reading was unlocked due to a technical error, contact us and we will resolve it or issue a refund.
